Dollar Tree is the perfect place for anyone to shop, especially when you're on a tight budget! I found some pretty good finds this trip. I'm looking forward to the next one :)
I have a lot of crap. A few months ago I decided to actually try on every piece of clothing I own and decide whether to keep it or donate it. I ended up donating a huge bag full. Most of the clothes were dresses I wore to hide my huge legs and stomach. Since I've lost so much weight, they didn't even fit in the boob area anymore. The weather is nice now and yesterday I decided to clean my flower beds and make the yard look half decent. Today, I'm doing laundry to get ready for the week and I've been looking in junk drawers and such realizing I have so much crap that I don't even use. This is just phase one of spring cleaning. I plan on cleaning one room per weekend from here on out, that way by the time my boyfriend returns from deployment the house will be squeaky clean. I think part of the reason it looks like I have so much stuff is because of the small space I live in, but at the same time, I really do hoard things I know I will never use again. I guess I j...
Christmas is in 14 days and I will hopefully be done with all of my shopping this weekend! I get so excited at this time of year because of all of the decorations and lights. It puts me in a great mood. I always have a lot of people do buy for. The biggest thing I always purchase is gift cards, which is a good thing because my wrapping skills need work. I want to do some kind of charity this month for the holidays. I haven't decided if I should bake cookies for the local homeless shelter or maybe try and collect some winter items for them. I did donate some toys to Toys for Tots but I don't feel like that is enough. I wish I had more free time to do more fundraising and charity work. I really love helping those in need. For anyone out there with shopping left to do, good luck and happy shopping!
Since this is my third time trying to lose weight, I want to be successful and not give up like the last two times. My boyfriend and I have went hiking for 5 Saturdays in a row and I think that is what is motivating me to continue workouts throughout the week. I just purchased a yearly parking pass for the park we hike at so maybe we can also start hiking more than just one day a week. I think I'm off to a good start. Last night my mom and I went for a speed walk around the neighborhood for about 15 minutes. I was also dancing and jogging and then continued to dance one we got home. I haven't had any soda in about week, not even a sip. And I'm trying to choose water as much as possible as my drink of choice. Junk food hasn't really been present, all though it is that time of the month so I'm eating bits of chocolate here and there. YouTube and Tumblr have been my main motivation sources. I like seeing the progress people make just by ma...
